The Codex

A codex is a structured record — a single place where everything is written down clearly, so nothing is assumed and nothing is hidden. This one covers what LedgerTools is, how the tools work, what the access tiers mean, and where the platform is going. If you're new, start here. If you're coming back, use the tabs to find what you need.

What is LedgerTools

Built for the XRP Ledger.
Built for everyone on it.

LedgerTools is a utilities platform for the XRPL ecosystem. Intelligence tools, automation, and workflows for participants at every level — first-timers to full-time traders.

Who it's for

XRPL traders, token issuers, wallet holders, and developers who want to understand what's actually happening on-chain — not just price feeds.

What it replaces

Manual ledger exploration and fragmented tooling spread across five browser tabs. The knowledge gap separating casual holders from people who understand the ecosystem.

What it doesn't do

LedgerTools does not give financial advice. It does not predict prices. It reads the public ledger and makes that data legible. Not financial advice.

Why XRPL

Running since 2012. 3–5 second finality. Native DEX, AMM pools, token issuance, and NFTs — without EVM gas unpredictability. The ledger is fully public. No API key needed to read it.

The Scanner

XRPL Asset Intelligence.

The LedgerTools Scanner is live in beta. It reads XRPL token and wallet data through the LedgerTools backend, with Xaman wallet connection and LGRT holder-gated access.

Live Beta

SCANNER BETA — Scanner Beta is live for public testing. Outputs, scoring, tier limits, and feature depth may change as LedgerTools develops.

Token lookup
Search by currency code, issuer address, or full XRPL asset identifier.
Issuer analysis
Review issuer signals including holder distribution, circulating supply, transfer fee, issuer flags, rippling, and recent activity.
Wallet intelligence
Inspect wallet-linked signals, recent activity, active wallets, and wallet-focused intelligence outputs. This area is live in beta and still being refined.
Market data
Displays price, liquidity, volume, market cap, AMM depth, and fallback market data where available.
Data source
Uses XRPL node queries, project backend logic, and external market-data fallbacks where required. Public XRPL node limits may affect some outputs during beta.
Access model
Scanner access is connected to verified Xaman wallet ownership and server-side LGRT balance checks.
How the backend works
Architecture

The frontend calls LedgerTools backend API routes. Sensitive checks, access decisions, and LGRT tier verification happen server-side. Raw XRPL connections are never exposed to browsers.

Node access

XRPL data is read through public XRPL WebSocket infrastructure during beta. Dedicated infrastructure may be evaluated as usage grows.

Gating

Access and Advanced tiers are free — connect your Xaman wallet to use the Scanner. Edge tier requires LGRT from the official issuer verified on the live XRP Ledger.

Access — Free
Advanced — Free
Edge — 5,000 LGRT

Edge tier is visible in the access system. Edge-level functionality will continue to roll out over time.

Telegram Tools

LedgerTipBot.

A Telegram-native XRPL tipping bot. Tip tokens directly inside group chats. Real on-chain transactions. No dashboard. No platform login. Just commands in chat.

Controlled Public Testing XRPL Telegram Tool

CONTROLLED PUBLIC TESTING — LedgerTipBot is now live for controlled public testing, currently focused on LGRT community tipping. Group setup and token configuration are managed manually at this stage. Commands, flows, and features may continue to develop.

LedgerTipBot on Telegram
LedgerTipBot on Telegram

LedgerTipBot lives inside Telegram — where your community already is. No separate app, no dashboard, no complicated setup. Wallet management happens privately in DM, and tipping happens directly inside group chats using simple commands.

Built by LedgerTools. Designed for XRPL-native communities. Real on-chain transactions every time.

LedgerTipBot group tipping
Tipping in action

A tip in action: a user replies to a message with a tip command, the bot sends a private confirmation showing the amount and the small bot fee, the user confirms via button, and the tip is sent as a verified XRPL transaction.

Clean, fast, and on-chain. The recipient receives the tokens directly to their bot wallet, with no extra steps required on their end.

What it is
What it does

LedgerTipBot lets Telegram community members send supported XRPL tokens directly to each other inside group chats. No separate app, no web dashboard, no DeFi knowledge required.

Who built it

LedgerTipBot is built and operated by LedgerTools. It is part of the LedgerTools suite of XRPL-native community and intelligence tools, starting alongside the Scanner.

Starting tokens

LedgerTipBot launches with support for XRP and LGRT. Additional approved XRPL tokens may be added where safe and suitable.

Where it runs

LedgerTipBot runs inside Telegram. Wallet setup happens privately via bot DM. Tipping happens inside group chats through simple commands or button-led flows.

Why it exists

Crypto communities already live in Telegram. LedgerTipBot exists to make tokens useful where communities are — not on a separate platform that requires a new onboarding flow.

NO DASHBOARD

No separate web interface. Everything happens inside the Telegram group where the community already is.

REAL ON-CHAIN

Tips are real XRPL transactions. Not IOUs, not points, not custodial credits. On-chain and final.

LOW FRICTION

Simple commands and confirmation buttons. No DeFi knowledge required to tip or receive.

How it works

From setup to tip in minutes.

Step 1 — Start the bot
Open LedgerTipBot in Telegram DM and start setup. The bot creates a personal XRPL wallet linked to your Telegram account.
Step 2 — Fund the wallet
Deposit XRP to activate the wallet. The first deposit should cover the XRPL account reserve, trustline reserve, and leave a buffer for network fees.
Step 3 — Enable trustlines
Enable the LGRT trustline (and future approved tokens) directly through the bot in DM. Each trustline requires a small XRP reserve on the XRPL network.
Step 4 — Tip in a group
In a group where LedgerTipBot is active, reply to a message or mention a user with a tip command. The bot shows a confirmation prompt before executing anything.
Step 5 — Confirm and send
Confirm via button. The tip is sent as a real XRPL transaction. Both sender and recipient receive confirmation messages.
Step 6 — Manage balance
Check balance, view transaction history, and withdraw funds to any XRPL address at any time via private DM — not in the group chat.
Example Commands
/tip 10 LGRT
/tip @username 5 XRP
/balance
/deposit
/history
/withdraw

Commands are being streamlined toward a button-led UX. Exact syntax may change before public release.

For projects and communities

Why token projects use it.

Real token use in chat

LedgerTipBot gives community members a reason to hold and use tokens beyond price speculation. Tips, rewards, and recognition happen directly where the community lives.

Community reward infrastructure

Community managers and moderators can reward helpful or active members without building separate systems. Any member with a funded bot wallet can tip any other member.

Onboarding new holders

Every new user who creates and funds a LedgerTipBot wallet becomes another wallet capable of holding and using that project's token. For token projects, this can increase wallet distribution and token interaction as more users are encouraged to create wallets, enable trustlines, and receive tokens.

No custom bot needed

Smaller projects get tipping infrastructure without building or maintaining their own bot. LedgerTools handles the technical layer. Projects focus on their community.

Wallet distribution

From passive holding to active participation.

LedgerTipBot can support wider wallet distribution because users who want to receive or send tips need a wallet and token trustlines enabled. This creates a natural incentive for community members to set up wallets and engage with tokens in a practical way.

Communities that use LedgerTipBot can move away from passive holding toward active interaction — where tokens change hands, people are rewarded, and participation has visible value.

"LedgerTipBot does not magically create adoption, but it gives communities the infrastructure to reward participation and spread token ownership more naturally."

Bot fee

Transparent and simple.

Fee structure
LedgerTipBot applies a 4% bot fee on tips. The recipient receives the full amount being tipped. The sender covers the additional fee on top of the tip amount.
Example
Tipping 10 LGRT → recipient receives 10 LGRT. Sender pays 10.4 LGRT total. The 0.4 LGRT is the bot development fee — visible before confirmation.
Why it exists
The fee supports hosting, infrastructure, security, ongoing development, and the wider LedgerTools build. It keeps the bot sustainable without relying on hype or unpaid infrastructure.
What it is not
Not a hidden charge, not a burn mechanism, not an extraction. A transparent development support fee that is clearly shown in the confirmation prompt before any transaction is sent.
Security model
Wallet data handling

Sensitive wallet data is encrypted and handled privately. Wallet credentials are never exposed in group chats. All sensitive wallet actions happen via private DM with the bot.

Seed phrase

The wallet seed is shown once during setup. The user must save it. LedgerTipBot cannot show the seed again. The user retains control of their own private key backup.

Confirmation-gated actions

All on-chain actions — tips, withdrawals — require explicit button confirmation before execution. No transaction is sent without the user actively approving it.

Usage guidance

Users should only deposit funds they are comfortable holding in a hot wallet for community activity. LedgerTipBot is a community utility tool, not a long-term storage wallet.

XRPL wallet requirements

Network requirements — not LedgerTools fees.

Account reserve
XRPL wallets require a minimum XRP balance to exist on the ledger. This is an XRPL network protocol requirement — not a LedgerTools charge.
Trustline reserve
Each token trustline (e.g. LGRT) requires a small additional XRP reserve held on-chain. This reserve is locked in the wallet, not spent or transferred.
Recommended first deposit
2 XRP is a comfortable starting point: ~1 XRP account reserve + ~0.2 XRP LGRT trustline reserve + ~0.8 XRP buffer for fees and future activity.
Transaction fees
Individual XRPL transactions cost 0.00001 XRP under standard conditions. Fees are negligible. The reserve is the primary consideration for new wallets.

These reserves are set by XRP Ledger protocol. LedgerTools does not control or receive them. They remain in the user's own wallet as locked XRP and are recoverable if trustlines are later removed.

Token support
Launch tokens
LedgerTipBot launches with XRP and LGRT. Both are fully supported from the start.
Future additions
Additional XRPL tokens may be added where safe, properly configured, and suitable for the platform. Each token must meet internal standards before being supported.
Group-level configuration
Token availability within a group is managed at the group admin level. Not every supported token will be active in every group by default.
Project integration
Longer term, LedgerTools may provide a pathway for other XRPL projects to integrate their tokens into the LedgerTipBot infrastructure. Details will be announced when relevant.
Ecosystem role

Part of a larger infrastructure.

LedgerTipBot is not a standalone product. It is one part of the LedgerTools ecosystem — a growing suite of tools connecting holders, communities, and projects across the XRP Ledger.

SCANNER

Token and wallet intelligence. Understand what you hold. Assess issuer signals. Verify on-chain data before interacting.

LEDGERTIPBOT

Community utility rail. Reward participation. Spread token ownership. Connect holders directly inside Telegram.

FUTURE TOOLS

Wallet dashboards, token radar, community reporting, and more — each building on a shared XRPL-native foundation.

Together, these tools form a utility layer for XRPL communities — not just information, but infrastructure that helps tokens move, be used, and grow through real participation.

Current status
Controlled Public Testing

LedgerTipBot is now live for controlled public testing. It is currently focused on LGRT community tipping and is built for XRPL Telegram communities. Group setup is reviewed and configured manually during this phase. Over time, LedgerTipBot will be expanded so other XRPL communities can use it with their own native tokens.

The Tools

The tools.

LedgerTools is a suite of utilities built for the XRPL ecosystem. Each tool is independent and useful on its own — and more useful together. This is everything currently being built or planned across the platform.

Scanner Beta
XRPL asset and wallet intelligence. Token lookup, issuer analysis, DEX data, holder distribution, and risk signals — all backed by live XRPL data. Gated by LGRT balance via Xaman wallet connection.
Bots
LedgerTipBot is live — LGRT tipping peer-to-peer inside Telegram, with wallet management, deposit and withdrawal flows, and balance commands. Additional XRPL Telegram bots are in development for the broader ecosystem.
LedgerPass: Founders Edition
A limited VIP access pass for the LedgerTools ecosystem. LedgerPass: Founders Edition gives early supporters lifetime all-areas access to every current and future LedgerTools product, tool, and gated feature — representing founder-level status and long-term support for the project as the toolbox expands across XRPL intelligence, bots, scanners, and future utilities. Only 50 passes will ever exist.
Tokens Radar
A live radar for new and trending tokens on the XRPL. Surface emerging projects, track new trust line activity, and spot movement before it becomes obvious. Built for community participants and active XRPL traders.
LedgerLens
A deeper intelligence layer for XRPL analysis. Cross-referencing addresses, trust line relationships, and on-chain behaviour patterns to give a fuller picture of wallet and project activity.
Project Audit
A professional audit service for XRPL projects. Fill in a structured form, sign an on-chain payment transaction, and receive a full written report within 5–7 days — typically sooner. The report covers what the project does well, what raises concerns, and specific recommendations for improvement such as KYC, liquidity structure, or transparency gaps. Projects that pass receive a LedgerTools audit badge to display publicly — a verifiable mark of quality that builds immediate trust within the XRPL community. Projects that launch their token through LedgerTools Token Launch receive 75% off the audit fee, with a chance for it to be completely free. The goal is simple: set a standard, reward builders, and help the XRPL community tell the difference.
Volume Booster
Volume automation for XRPL tokens. Designed for project owners and active market participants who need controlled, configurable on-chain volume support.
Token Launch
A guided service for anyone who wants to create their own token on the XRP Ledger. LedgerTools walks you through the process and helps you launch cleanly. Projects that go through Token Launch receive 75% off a Project Audit — with a chance for it to be completely free.

How verification works
Wallet connect

Uses Xaman signing to verify wallet ownership. You approve on your own device — your private keys never touch LedgerTools. The backend receives a signed payload and verifies ownership against the live ledger.

Balance checks

For Edge tier, LGRT balance is checked server-side against the official issuer on the live XRP Ledger. Browser or client-reported balances are not trusted for access decisions.
